- removes barriers that could get in the way of someone being able to do their work properly
- eliminates organizational divides
- fosters an environment where change can more easily take place if needed
- allows for accountability between workers and for everyone to be held to a higher standard
- promotes a thriving and healthy work environment as workers achieve equity and gain a sense of camaraderie
- brings strengths and weaknesses in view more easily as there are more people to be able to see things from different view points
- increases efficiency to accomplish goals more quickly
- more ideas are generated

Since the world as a whole is becoming increasingly more complex, to me it seems that the business world is also becoming more complex. In today's business environment, some challenges and problems are impossible for one individual to be able to have an effective solution. No one person has all the skills or all the resources needed to provide all that is needed to achieve certain goals a company needs to accomplish. For this reason, I believe a collaboration of several different people with various skill sets and differing resources is a must for a business to be able to survive and to stay above any competition or any challenge they face.
