Since the world as a whole is becoming increasingly more complex, to me it seems that the business world is also becoming more complex. In today's business environment, some challenges and problems are impossible for one individual to be able to have an effective solution. No one person has all the skills or all the resources needed to provide all that is needed to achieve certain goals a company needs to accomplish. For this reason, I believe a collaboration of several different people with various skill sets and differing resources is a must for a business to be able to survive and to stay above any competition or any challenge they face.
